After more than fifteen years as a professional harpist, Rebecca has a varied and unique experience of both performing and teaching, as well as recording, writing and various other areas.Rebecca performed regularly through her school years and while studying for her degree, during which time she won several awards and competitions for her performance skills. After graduating from UEA Rebecca set up her own private teaching practise and continued to perform at weddings, functions, orchestral concerts and recitals. She now plays for around 25-30 weddings per year, and her public concerts include solo recitals, and chamber recitals with various chamber groups and orchestras.Rebecca currently teaches privately at her home near Market Harborough. She is fully CRB checked and regularly undertakes child protection training and other training courses to keep her qualifications current. Rebecca also writes music for young harpists and is the founder of the East Anglia Harp Festival.
